Event details image 1

This 2-hour webinar is designed for college and graduate students in STEM fields who have an interest in science policy. Based on AAAS’ popular Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering (CASE) workshop, the goal of this session is to repurpose elements of the annual workshop directly focused on the impact of COVID-19 on the federal R&D budget, academia and the research enterprise, and individual scientists. Participants will also learn about communicating with Members of Congress and their staffs and how to articulate concerns on science funding in COVID-19 stimulus legislation and FY 2021 regular appropriations.
